Prolaborate Analyzer - Known Issues & Troubleshooting Guide

Images Exported from Analyzer are not Clear 

Description: Images exported from Analyzer with a high number of nodes are not clear. This is a known bug in Prolaborate V5.2.

Workaround: No workaround mentioned. Bug fix planned in future release.

Permission Denied Error when Editing Analyzer Nodes (V5.2) 

Description: Users receive 'Permission Denied' error when editing nodes. Affects regular users, not Super Admins.

Resolution: Fixed in Prolaborate V5.3. Temporary workaround: Grant 'Modeling Languages' access to user groups. 

You Do Not Have Access to Artifact Error 

Description: Occurs when Sections and Access Permissions are not configured for user/user group.

Resolution: Configure Sections and assign Access Permissions correctly in repository settings. 

Transferring Analyzer Views Between Repositories 

Description: No UI feature exists for transferring views. Must be done via database manipulation. 

Notes: Creator of Analyzer view can only be identified through database queries. 

Encoding Issue with Scandinavian Characters 

Description: Scandinavian characters (Ö Ä Å) get corrupted when edited in Prolaborate and viewed again in Sparx EA.

Workaround: Uncheck 'Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support' in Windows Region settings. 

Slow Performance in Analyzer View 

Description: Analyzer View performance is slow, especially with Archimate models, in Prolaborate V5.3.

Resolution: Fix scheduled in Prolaborate V5.4. 

Permission Denied Error when Editing Nodes (V5.3) 

Description: Similar 'Permission Denied' error as V5.2 persists if 'Modeling Languages' access is not granted.

Workaround: Grant 'Modeling Languages' access in user group settings.
