Q1: Roadmap Displaying EA GUID Values When Grouping by RefGUID Property
Description
The customer reports that when grouping the roadmap items by a property of type 'RefGUID', the roadmap shows the EA GUID values of the referenced elements.
We were able to replicate this issue in Prolaborate V5.0.0.46.
Steps Taken
-We replicated this issue and reached out to Product Team with our Inputs.
-Technical team confirmed that RefGuid-based grouping doesn't work with charts due to the limitation with dynamic query construction.
-Product Team also confirmed that this will be addressed in a future release.
-There is no possible workaround for this issue as of now.
Response
Hi <Customer>,
Thank you for your patience.
Our team has confirmed that there is an issue with RefGUID-based grouping in charts, which is attributable to a limitation in dynamic query construction.
We wanted to assure you that this will be fixed in the future release of Prolaborate. We will keep you updated on any developments.

Q2: Unable to delete the Lifecycle Configuration
Description
When the user tries to delete the Lifecycle Configuration, error messages are thrown saying Unable to delete/deletion failed.
1. The Modelling Language associated with the Lifecycle configuration is removed from Prolaborate.
- When the modelling language of that lifecycle configuration is deleted from Prolaborate, an error message appears saying "Due to an unexpected error that occurred during the execution, the deletion failed".
This is a known bug in Prolaborate V5.1 and previous versions, Product Team confirmed that this will be fixed in the upcoming release (Please refer to the Model ID Prol-Bug3416).
Workaround
As an alternative approach, we can remove the lifecycle configuration directly from the database to resolve the issue by manually executing a query. (Before that please confirm the type of the customer's Prolaborate database)
The query to delete the lifecycle configuration and the supporting document can be found in the attachment below.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Create a lifecycle configuration with an MDG.
2. Create a lifecycle roadmap widget with the configuration.
3. Delete the MDG from the repository and the widget from the dashboard.
4. Now, try deleting the Lifecycle configuration, you will get an error saying, "Due to an unexpected error that occurred during the execution, the deletion failed".
2. Lifecycle configuration is currently in use in a dashboard.
When the lifecycle configuration is currently in use in a dashboard widget, an error message saying "Unable to delete. Configuration is in use" will appear.
Delete the respective Lifecycle Roadmap chart from the dashboard.
Now, try deleting the Lifecycle configuration.

Q3: The "Year" field in Lifecycle Roadmap's Timeline configuration shows only 20 values at a time
Description
The Year field in the Lifecycle Roadmap's Timeline setting, only shows the past 10 years, and the users are not able to scroll up to find an earlier year.
Possible Reasons
This is a known bug in Prolaborate V5.2 and previous versions, Product Team confirmed that this is a known bug, and it will be fixed in the upcoming release.
Workaround
To select a year past 10 years, click on the topmost year and scroll up to access the previous years.

Q4 Lifecycle Chart Not Displaying in Prolaborate
Description:
When attempting to create a lifecycle chart in Prolaborate, users may encounter an issue where the chart does not appear, and an error message is displayed instead.
Things to check
- Ensure that the date format in the Prolaborate settings matches the date format used in the Model.
- Set the default date format to `yyyy-MM-dd` in the general settings.
2. Review MDG Mappings:
- Confirm that the MDG file used for lifecycle configurations is correctly mapped.
3. Tagged Value Configuration:
- Review the tagged values configuration in both the MDG file and the Prolaborate lifecycle settings.
4. Provide MDG File:
- If the issue persists, share the MDG file or recreate it without sensitive data for further investigation.
Posssible outcomes:
- The issue may be related to the date format mismatch between the MDG and Prolaborate settings.
- Users are encouraged to set the default date format to `yyyy-MM-dd` for compatibility.
When changing the dates in Prolaborate, the date format changes in the Model database as a result, the elements go missing in the Roadmap chart, Lifecycle Roadmap. Based on the info, there is an issue with PCS 5 that has to be addressed with SSHQ.
