Q1:Steps to roll-back Prolaborate and PCS to previous
version

Pre-requites
Prolaborate
DB backup (before the upgrade).
A complete Prolaborate
folder backup (make a copy and store it in another location).
Note: These above activities should be done before
the upgrade.
Steps to roll
back to previous version of Prolaborate
Step 1: First, uninstall the current installation of
the Prolaborate application from your machine and delete the installation
folders
Example:
which is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\ Prolaborate
Step 2: Now create a new database and restore the
backed-up Prolaborate DB data in this Database. The backup, which was taken
previously before the upgrade.
Step 3: Now create an installation directory for
Prolaborate. Make sure the folder name is exactly as it was in the previous
version.
Step 4: Then start installing the older version and
make sure to confirm the following things:
1. In Destination Folder, make sure to
choose the created folder (Step 3)
by using the Change option.
2. Next, please make sure to choose the
“Skip this step” option in the
Database Schema window.
3. Now, enter the database connection
details and use the Database details in which you restored the Prolaborate DB
backup (Step 2).
4. Then continue and complete the
installation.
Step 5: After the installation, please go to the Task
Manager and stop the Prolaborate service.
Step 6: Now copy the Prolaborate folder that you
copied previously and paste it in the current Prolaborate folder.
Step 7: Once done, start the Prolaborate service.
For Pro Cloud
Server (PCS)
Pre-requites
Perform a
complete folder backup of the Pro cloud server before the upgrade.
Steps to roll
back PCS
Step 1: If there are any issues after upgrading to the
new version, please uninstall the new version, but do not delete the PCS
folder.
Step 2: Now run the previous version of the PCS
installer using the same folder as the destination.
Step 3: Then check that every configuration is as it
is. If the licence is missing, then copy the licence from the backup folder and
replace it in the current folder.
